Lee Clerk’s Office expands office hours for passport applications

The Lee County Clerk of Court’s Recording Office accepts and verifies passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. It is the responsibility of the Lee Clerk’s Office to review the passport application, collect the correct fees, and make sure that all required documentation is included prior to it being sent. The clerk’s office can even take your passport photo for an additional fee.

For residents’ and guests’ convenience, the Lee Clerk’s Office is expanding it passport acceptance hours the week of March 12. Office hours March 12-17 will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday.

No appointment necessary.

Passport renewals

You may not be required to come to our office for a Passport Renewal. To see if you qualify for a renewal by mail, check passport renewal information on www.leeclerk.org

You are encouraged to review passport information before coming to the office. Required fees, documents, and all other information can be found at www.leeclerk.org. Select the Passports link or call 239-533-5007 to get things started.

The Recording Office is located in downtown Fort Myers. The Administration Building is at 2115 Second St., 2nd Floor.
