Complainer and Chief

To the editor:

Well, well folks, here we are at the conclusion of the complainer and chief's first hundred days in office. I'd like to make two points before we get started. 1) Since he is already backtracking on the importance, of this historic, symbolistic event, please remember, it was he who bragged that he would accomplish all of these "wonderful" items he had on his agenda. Nobody else, only him, from his own quotes, these are not just campaign promises, they were presented as his policy for the way forward if he was elected President. They were presented as "I will blah blah blah." Things the voter could take to the bank, all of which would be concluded with a resounding "trust me." Herein lies the problem; today his trust factor with the American people stands at an embarrassing 25 percent.

Below is a list of the top 12 items he used to scam the voters he was reaching out to. I'm still without words that enough voters were dumb enough to believe this carpet bag full of lies and deception which the Wizard of Trumpland delivered with a straight face, no less.

1) Where are the millions of jobs that were promised? Not even one bill submitted that includes jobs or infrastructure.

2) Couldn't even get a vote on the floor of the House on the repeal and replace Obamacare bill.

3) No Trump, Mexico is not going to pay for your wall, the American taxpayer will get stuck with the bill for your stupid idea. If it even gets that far.

4) You call that "draining the swamp?" What did you replace it with? Other swamp people.

5) Where's the big fight for "the forgotten poor? "Must have gotten lost in one of your million dollar trips to Mar-A-Largo. On the taxpayers' tab, I might add.

6) Where's the legislation on tax reform? Submitting an outline this Wednesday just doesn't cut it when you're playing in the big boys' sandbox, Trump.

7) When are you going to man up and give us a government and enough experienced people who can run it? Along with the funding necessary. Right now you are embarrassing this Great Nation of ours on the world stage as they witness the gutting of a nation they thought they could count on.

8) When are you going to release your tax returns and take care of this nagging question about you and your family's conflict of interest issues? That would be the right thing to do. I know those words are not even in your dictionary, but they are in millions of Americans' minds and souls.

9) You told your supporter that "I'll never lie to you." That being the case why don't you come right out and explain to us why you and your campaign is being investigated by the FBI, the Senate and the House for ties to the Russians for tampering with our election process? Oh, no alternate facts please.

10) You stated to your supporters they are going to be sick of winning. How's that working out for you?

11) Why is the fact that your approval rating with voters is 35 percent and you keep telling everybody that your administration is running like a well oiled machine, when it is not? It's well known that your administration is in constant chaos.

12) You campaigned on a more transparent White House when, in fact, you have sealed the White House Visitor's log. Please explain.

Let me close with two thoughts. 1) Does this sound familiar; "We're going to be announcing something, I would say over the two or three weeks that will be phenomenal in terms of tax reform." Nearly 10 weeks later Trump told a crowd in Wisconsin that the plan was "coming along very well and would be out very soon." I don't know about you folks, but I'm sick and tired of sitting on the edge of the bed and listening to this con artist tell me how good it's going to be. Why can't you Trumpsters see right through this carnival barker in a New York minute?

2) For all of those who actually think that this lying piece of swamp waste is going to change his ways as he settles into his job and responsibilities as President of the United States, may I give you a little advise, not from me but from a really intelligent guy, Albert Einstein: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." This guy is not going to change; Trump is Trump that's it. Impeach now or forever hold your peace.
